Non-woven discs are a combination of strong synthetic mesh and quality abrasives, bonded together by a smear-free adhesive. They are ideal for use on portable tools to clean and remove imperfections on metal surfaces, clean, deburr or finish a variety of surfaces, blend weld seams or create decorative finishes. The open construction of the non-woven material enables aggressive cutting action and improved surface finish while maintaining its non-loading feature. Perfectly prepare, blend, clean and detail your metal projects with the Bear-Tex® Rapid Prep™ AO medium grit non-woven hook and loop disc. The disc works with stainless steels, tool steels, welds, aluminum, fiberglass, composites, carbon steels, super alloys, titanium and cast, gray and ductile iron. With a long life, the aluminum oxide abrasive grain coating gives better performance and a 20% higher cut rate than comparable competitors. Clean Bond resin technology means smear-free finishes, while the nylon scrim backing gives the disc superior durability and stiffness.
